giving voice
My 11 mth. old (Vivian) is finding her own share of bunnies and is doing her share to keep the line moving ahead however she kinda likes to hear her voice and uses it often. Much like a few of the guys @ work... I can tell a difference between when she's moving the line ahead and when she's just yapping. She's distracting to my Chloe dog in a check area and I know its gonna cost her in minuses. And I don't like it because its not the way its supposed to work. Suggestions? I am thinging shock collar but don't want to discourage or scare a pup...I would appreciate any advise. Thank you. Eric Hewitt

I use the command "QUIET" at home - reenforced with the garden hose -- then you can use it in the field-- as she matures, she will also calm down and get more serious sbout bunnies.

Feed her lots of rabbit tracks and as time goes on she'll come around

Mouthy Pooch
An old beagle breeder and trainer named Tom Dornin advised me years ago to take a pup like this in the field by itself. His theory was that a barking hound is only trying to bring attention to himself. If there is no other do to attract to him he may cut down on the barking. Might work!!

Yup, Once started, most of what they learn from other dogs is bad stuff away. Run 'em alone
