GLBC HONEY HUNTS OCTOBER 18 AND 19
Each year the Great Lakes Basset Club holds one weekend of HONEY HUNTS. 12 oz jars of honey are awarded each day to top 5 Open, top 3 Champ, and top 3 G Champs. On Saturday the BOS in each class will get honey. No bench show on Sunday. Deadline for entries each day is 7:00 DEST. There will be a GLBC club meeting at approximately 7:30 Saturday morning. Election of officers for 2009 and 2010 and other club business. We hope all GLBC members will be present for this meeting. Directions: Get on I 69 to exit 61. Turn left (west) off of exit ramp and continue west through the town of Charlotte. You are on M 79. Continue west approximately 3 miles to Stine Road. I know that I'm not an active member anymore. Although I still watch this board and I still have an interest in this organization. I feel that Gary Hogle deserves this President position. Gary has a true passion for this organization and has devoted many hours in judging even when he didn't have a hound to run. Gary has conducted himself in a perfessional manner both in the field and at the club house. Gary will help anyone and is very fair to all. Gary will do an outstanding job as President and has the best interest needed along with the knowledge to conduct Great Lakes Basset Club into the future. Good luck Gary!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan Wells
