she's been tracking(dang near circling) without opening. thanks to a spotlight and two nights riding around she finally opened. It was on about the 20th rabbit. we'd spot the rabbit then put her dead on the trail, she'd track it with alot of intrest but then she finally opened. One time with the light holding the rabbit I nearly carried the pup right up to it and when it bolted instead of it hitting the bushes it went straight down the road for about 150yds with her dead on its heels.. cant wait till this weekend

I have a pup that just started at 1yr old. He will find,open and track his own rabbit but won't Hark in on another dogs run. Im sure this will come with practice. This is the first pup I have started myself. I have 2 other pups from the same litter that haven't started yet. But one is showing some interest now. This litter was out of my dogs Bender & Dolly. Its awesome to watch these pups put it together! :lol:
