Looking for a Rabbit Hunting Gun
I'm looking for an old Stevens 311 SxS in .410 or 20ga. for rabbit hunting. If anyone knows where one can be had, let me know.

seen one online in the cabela's gun library for $1200.00 .410 nice shape too. i got one but it ain't for sale got it from my father's estate. good guns if you can find one.

The 12 gauges can be found a dime-a-dozen. But the 20's & .410's are a bit harder to come by. That $1200 price is probably for one that's an 80-100% rating. I'm looking for something that may need reconditioning and reblueing.

remington has a line of sxs in 410 20 i beleive it is under the name sparten the company before that had it was called bakiel i had a 12 never had any problems with it

might want to try zanders sporting goods they have a big selection of arms it would give u the option if u cant find a stevens dont ask my to arnt for sale either

I've looked at the Spartan by Remington and it's too short for me. Kind of like it had a kiddy stock. I did look at the Stoeger Uplander SxS in .410 and it's a perfect fit. And around $350 msrp.

marlin is still manufacturing l.c. smith sxsin 410 price is a little salty but they did improve the firering pin and hammers in them you might try gunbrooker.com i have seen many sxs at trap shoots if there is a state shoot or a big regional shoot in your area it might pay off to make the trip ucan possibly pick one up at a good price they r usully eager to get rid of them so they dont have to load them back up.if you would like there is a state shoot at the end of the month in il. i willl loke 4 you and get there card and phone number if they have one .
