Missouri Hunt May 3-4 Show-me Hunting Bassets / Directions
The Missouri Club " Show-Me Hunting Bassets" Has moved Our May 3-4 trial location to a field trial grounds called "The Sportsmans Club of SW Missouri" located in Grovespring Missouri.
We were forced to move our trial to a designated field trial area due to problems discoverd recently with getting a field trial permit from the department of conservation during spring turkey season.
Now for the good news. It is a great facility with a Club House, Bunk House, Showers, Kitcken and 50 Kennels and hundreds of acres of land available for our use. The bunkhouse has 9 military style bunk beds and matresses. 18 Bunks total. No need to bring a cot, but you will need a sleeping bag and pillow. The Facility will be having a maintaince days that weekend so we will share a few of the bunks with some regular club members.
The closest motels would be in Marshfield or Lebanon 20+ miles away.
Directions
Grovespring Mo is located about 20 miles South of I-44 & Lebanon on Hwy 5. Please Take note of the spelling. Your GPS will not find it if you make two words of it or add an S to the end. these mistakes are easy to make.
From North or East
I-44 exit 129 on to Hwy 5 South
South
Hwy 5 North to Grovespring
The signs will start at the intersection of Hwy 5 and Hwy M in Grovespring. Take Hwy M West about 1/2 mile to Park Creek Rd your turn is just after the post office. Turn R or North on to Park Creek Rd. It is a gravel road. You will have to make a right to stay on Park Creek (I will place a sign there) as it meets another road. Go about 2 miles to the Clubhose on the left.
From West
Exit 44 in Marshfield Exit 100. Take 38 to Hwy CC, Make a left on CC take it to Hwy M. Turn Rt on M through Niangua to Grovespring. Turn Just before the Post Office onto Park Creek Rd and follow signs to clubhouse. About 2 miles on left.

besides my dogs could use the rest after all the tracks they ran backwards at IN state

Eric: Rich had asked me to bring several grands to help make a class. Two of my Grands are currently being bred and can't make the trip, that only leaves Mac. Unless someone else has one, I will plan on leaving him at home and just bring open and champions.
Thanks for the offer Eric, but if you do that, it will be one less option baxter will have to minus out and break his existing record for the shortest time to scratch out of a cast.
Jim - If things go smoothly at work, I should be there with Annie. However, I won't know for sure until that week.

Hi All
Anyone needing help with directions please call my cell 417-827-1978 before noon Friday. The clubhouse will be open at noon. I will be at the clubhouse in the afternoon or posting signs. My cell will not get a signal at the clubhouse, yours probably won't either. I will go to town in the evening to check messages incase someone gets lost.
Our weather is 65 and sunny over the weekend.
