news peice I found
Look at how many dogs they found at this guys mill: " “We counted 1,080 dogs on November the 2nd,” Larrowe said, making it necessary to call in state emergency officials and the Red Cross to help. Carroll County found itself with 1,080 dogs — topping 1,100 after a few new births over the following days — after county animal control officers, acting on information compiled during a five-month undercover investigation by the Humane Society of the United States, raided Horton’s Pups, a mass breeding farm in Hillsville, near Roanoke. " thats from MSNBC's site. Thats crazy

Thats crazy...............I have 8 dogs and 6 six week old pups, and my hands are full. That type of operation is a major puppy mill. I really doubt that all those dogs were being properly cared for. That operations is way bigger than what was that guy in AR (C.C. Baird) who got shut down a few years back . I remember seeing the undercover piece on him and it was crazy. These were some of the hounds in his kennel: Other Dogs:

We saw that piece on Baird a while back on HBO. At first we thought it was going to be some documentary by a bunch of tree huggers trying to make hound people look bad but heck ol CC did not need any help at that. People like him & most puppy mills give all of us responsible animal owners a bad name & are the main reason why its so hard to fight all these new animal legislation laws. The common person sees this crap (because thats what makes the news) & they want to support all these laws that would benifit the animals (I would to if everone treated animals like that) but they don't know that everyone is not like that and they dont relize how bad of an effect it could really have. The constant circle is just sickening.
