Otis the Retard
Well I took Otis to the vet friday and he has advanced Lyphoma or cancer. The prognosis is very bleak and he will probley be put down either this week or next. He is a goofy bugger, but he always seemed to surprise me the few times he did run. Like when I put those bells on him and some how he got lucky and made it to the finals and placed in the world. What a hoot. Oh well I guess that's how it goes.

Sorry to hear about Otis. I lost my 1st basset to testicular cancer when he was 5 yrs old, and have heard of others also with cancer, it seems to be fairly common it bassets not that that makes it any easier.
