Pinehawk's Little Ike
will be with Keith Kurtz and standing at stud with him for a while.get your good bitches to him while you can.Ike is a AKC field champion that can "RUN" a rabbit, smart enough to drop it into 4 wheel low when the scenting gets tough and walk the line out, shift into gear when the scenting is good.jumps a rabbit with out help and can run it without help, will cut you from behind when yours misses the turn and will take the front and hold it, he won't leave nothing for you to run, cause he shows them where it went. 23 AKC placings in less than 30 trials from 10/2005 to 11/2007 he has placed under Brace judges,Gun Dog Brace judges,& SPO judges.if they liked him you might too.Ike has been in 3 AHBA hunts and has placed in 2,i scratched him in the 3rd.He also earned his Hunting Hound title from the BHCA on a 95 degree day in Oct.2007 at the Fall Nationals and placed 3rd in the Nationals on another 90 plus degree day.i have never had the chance to run him in the snow since we don't get much in New Jersey were i live so i don't know how he will do but Keith will find out this winter and give his report. He ain't perfect but he is consistent. He also has been in 2 AKC trials this year in the champion class and has placed in both a 4th and a 1st were he came up from 4th place to win it all.he won't hurt your program, but he will help your program.Ike is i think a 3rd generation AHBA registered hound.
