Ran One Well Today
I took Barney out this morning before the blizzard blows in since it will probably be at least a few days before we'll get out again. We went to a small (20 acre) clear-cut area and almost immeadiately got him on a fresh set of hare tracks. He ended up running it for about 45 minutes and 2 1/2 circles around me. I blew my chance at shooting the first one for him. When he brought it around the first time I saw it hopping in from my front-left side. As I raised the gun it caught my movement, made turn, and turned on the speed. He did start to open up a bit on this one. Some whines and whimper at first. Then just before he lost it a couple of good yelps.

keepem running i wish our rabbit season was longer ares ends jan22nd. glad i dont have your temps up there and snow. do you guys have a abundence of rabbits . ares are low due to last summers drought and to many prediters /coyotes. cant pick them off fast enough seems like if you take 10 out thirty more takes its place.
