The Great NY Basset Run
The Glendale Beagle Club approached us to have a field trial after our first NY hunt. They were impressed by the turnout. Hopefully everyone can make it to our hunt November 15 and 16. The registration deadline will be 7am. Here are the directions: South (and North): Take I81 to exit 7 Castle Creek and turn left (right if your coming from the North) then go to Hyde Street which will be the first Right and turn, then go about 3 miles to Hill Road (it will be on the right) and its about a mile to the club grounds from the East/West: take i86/17 to I81 North SIGNS will be posted from Hyde Street Hope you can make it and we'll see you then. is there an adress for the club house or something relitivly close to it so i can map quest it to get me to where your signs will be. im not 100% sure that i can make it but im going to try.

yeah for some reason mapquest doesn't work with the roads that go to the club. Try using google maps and the address 151 hyde street... its the town building for the town of barker, just keep going straight. Binghamton is about 5 miles south and there are plenty of hotels. I think the Red Roof Inn on exit 5 allows dogs. Susan, I couldn't get a hold of anyone from the club but they probably won't mind if you run your dogs friday night. I hear they have alot of bunnies, it should be a good weekend. Glad to hear you're coming Chris. See you all this weekend!

Hunt Results NY!
Thanks to all who came out to our trial this weekend. It was bit rainy on saturday and a bit chilly on sunday. But we had some great runs. Thanks to the Glendale Beagle Club for having us, they made some great food this weekend and their grounds are awesome. Congratulations to the weekends winners and all involved. hey, just got in a little bit ago. ran into some real bad weather on the way home but we made it in around midnight.we had a great time this weekend. the running was very good and the club was as well. now its time to go to bed and get that big buck tomorrow.......hopefully?
