That would be a users computer issues as these forums are database driven and run in real time. I manage about 10 of them from the ground up. Trying clearing out all your browser cache and cookies and then rebooting the machine. Cause if your getting emails a few days after they were sent and your not seeing a post you posted for 4 days, your not getting anything out of the old cpu. Make sure your computer is free from spyware programs as they can wrck havoc on a cpu.

What browser are you using and operating system. If your not seeing post for days on a live database forum, to me it sounds like your holding cache. What is your browser option settings for "check for newer version of stored page"? Browser option settings also play in how you view webpages.

I'm using xp home and explorer 7, always kept up to date ---The settings don't get changed----- the problem only occurs on rare occasions --- I'm inclined to believe the problem is with Comcast cable -- this morning, I could not reach the forum page until after 9:30 -- explorer could not display page.

Server issues could keep ya from reaching a forum....this forum is a on a server that offers free forums so sometimes servers like this experience downtime more than others. I have my own server and sometimes I have downtimes as well. All a server is a computer and they need rebooting from time to time. Something is a miss if post takes days to show up for you on live database real time forum. Couldn't tell you why other than some of things I mentioned.
