Question:

How long does a rabbit stay good in the refrigerator?

as long as you keep it fed and watered it should last quite a while. and dont forget to clean up the scat.

Depends on whether you mean raw or cooked. I have let it thaw in the fridge for a three days and then sit in there for another two because I got busy. I cooked i and it seemed fine to me. If you mean after you cook it then,...uh.. well, I dont know..... I never seem to have any left overs.

Not to steal you thread here but I would like to have a good rabbit recipe if anyone has one......(did I spell that right?....recipe?, reciepe?, receipe?....doesnt look right) Oh well, anyhow, yeah.

I like rabbit stew! Real easy....Crock pot....Rabbit-Onions-Cream of mushroom soup,do not dilute.......slow cook4-6hrs..YUMMY! rule of thumb....1 Can of soup per one pound of meat. You can ad any type of vegetable you like to it--trick here is to cook them seperate and add all together about half an hour before rabbit is done..other wise the veggies get too mushy.. the basic stew can also be mixed with stir fry veggies and served over rice..this is also great with venison...

Jeremy you got me going!! This one I made up myself ..it sounds crazy but is really good! Par boil rabbit half hour--put on baking sheet put in oven on 350 for about another half hour..it depends on how your oven works may take less or more time....Take some rubarb boil it down and sweeten to taste add orange juice to the rubarb to taste..Glaze the rabbit with the mixture 10 mins. before its done.. or insted of the oven put it on the grill...use the glaze as you would bar B-Q sauce or just use your favorite bar-B-Q sauce..the rubarb glaze works well on chicken or duck..If you are a duck hunter use the rubarb glaze in the same manner and before baking stuff the duck with sliced apples..
